The Juniper Pure Rejuvenation Oil is a concentration oil rich of antioxidants and the omega fatty acids, helping protect, restore and hydrate the skin. Due to the richness of the ingredients, this oil is ideal for those with normal to dry skin types, as a night oil or infused into a day moisturiser for those needing a bit of day time restoration.

The hero ingredients in this product are Calendula, Rosehip and Sea Buckthorn, all incredibly restorative and nourishing oils due to being rich sources of vitamins, minerals and fatty acids essential for optimal skin health. There is an amazing resurgence of all-in-one facial oils currently flooding the market as consumers are reverting back to simpler routines. This oil is definitely one that can carry you through the year, particularly if you suffer from dryer skin. This may not be the oil for you if you have normal – oily skin, or if you have combination skin, it may be worth moving between two products to ensure the right balance.

First impressions

Fragrance:
There are plenty of oil extracts in this product for your sense of smell to be challenged. It’s a nourishing botanical infusion, with the strong scent of calendula and rose hip.

Texture:
The texture is silky and nourishes the skin without leaving it oily. It’s a fuller texture due to the combination of rejuvenating oils.

Efficacy:
Oils are particularly beneficial to use at night so that the skin can stop and restore with the added benefits of nourishing ingredients. This oil is just that – rejuvenating and nourishing, and upon waking up, any inflammation has decreased and skin is left feeling hydrated and supple. Depending on your skin type, you may only need to use this once a day, however if you suffer from drying skin conditions you may choose to add a few drops to your day time moisturiser for added hydration.

Packaging review

Bottle: Glass- See more about GLASS and its impact

Anything packed in glass is our favourite type of packaging. It’s an environmentally friendly alternative to plastics as it can be reused, recycled and repurposed. Made from all natural raw-materials, it’s long lasting in its structural integrity.

The Juniper oil has a pump mechanism too, and this is treated separately to how the bottle is recycled, due to the different material used.

The Good

Rose canina (Rose Hip) Oil is a rich source of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids, penetrating the skin on a cellular level to provide its healing properties. Rosehip oil is particularly suitable for dryer, more mature skin types, or for someone looking to treat scarring and/or redness associated with inflammation. Through its penetrative action, its properties infiltrate the skin and work to delay skin aging, promoting collagen and elastin levels – these benefits making it a great option for more mature types looking to fight wrinkles and fine lines, and those who have sun damaged skin, or in need of balancing skin tone due to scars. It is a certified organic ingredient in this product.

Calendula officinalis (Calendula) Oil is an extract from marigold flowers. It’s often used for dry and damaged skin due to its regenerating anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Its natural restorative properties infuse the skin with a youthful glow and protects the skin against premature ageing.

Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn) Oil is extracted from berries and seeds of the Sea Buckthorn plant, and contains vitamin A, B1, B2, B6 and C to help heal skin conditions such as acne, dermatitis, dry skin, and eczema. Additionally, it may be the only plant in the world to contain all four omegas: omega-3, omega-6, omega-7 and omega-9. That’s a powerful ingredient.

The Questionable

There’s actually no questionable ingredients here. None to the naked eye, anyway.
